Realistic, Alteration or Distorted Art?

Well for me I like distorted art than in realistic in terms that it's okay if you don't have to copy the exact thing.It's just somehow an abstract art.That's for me in terms of drawing but I love those 3 in terms of the finish product because it has different meanings or messages the artist wants us to know.Realistic, alteration and distorted different use and properties,  that's why it's kinda hard to choose the best one.Those arts are beautiful in their own ways. Maybe for others they have a kind of art that they like but for me I love all because one has different properties than the others. Those certain art has something that other arts doesn't contain that's why maybe I'm saying this.And I can't even choose what I like.


Realistic art is indeed good, alteration is the same and also distorted but in doing it, yes in terms of activity we have the easy, average and hard.We can say that.Easy is for distorted, average for alteration and hard for realistic that's for me because I'm not really good on hands-on or drawing.Okay let's go to the point I want distorted or alteration in activities but realistic it's kinda no-no.But I'm trying to expose or practice myself in realistic art so I can really appreciate it.And yes, it's fun but it's hard.Well I had finish a realistic art earlier and I feel good about it.I have this thought in my mind saying "try to practice more,you can learn a lot and be proud of your work".Simply because most of the people are amazed by realistic art somehow they don't appreciate distorted and alteration.But it's different for me. I prefer all!I love to challenge myself and see how far I can go with these kind of arts.


I already said though there's still a lot of confusing thought s coming but I know,you know what I mean.It's hard to explain but for sure you know it.I want to know about different kinds of arts and try to make my own art/creativity using it.It's good to be able to make my own art with realistic,alteration and distorted art.Well there I can see where I'm weak but still trying is the best!ALL 3 arts are good!I prefer them all!:))

Thoughts in creating impromptu arts

My thoughts?Wait,let's start first with what's an impromptu arts?Well this is when you're in the middle of something and one will say to you draw something or make something out of this or in this situation.At first I was like "woah?!O_O" but  in the end I was able to came up with an art.For me it's challenging because you don't have any idea and you need to play with your mind doing that art with no explanation coming for someone.Me,I just go with what's my mind want me to do and what my heart likes.For me impromptu arts are good because you can really express yourself there without someone saying "oh!This is wrong...etc" because they don't know what's going into your mind, actually it's your heart and your mind who's working what should be the result of that certain art.Well at first it seems like impromptu art is hard.But once you get the idea or accept the aura of that thing you're going to do.It will be easy for you.And you can start you're art and you didn't that you are overflowing with ideas and before you know it you're done.Oh!And also at first you will think something like this "how can I do that?It's hard" but of course it's needed you need to do it.In my experience I applied some of what my professor taught me in our drawing class, even though I'm not really good I tried to apply it even it's not perfect just to make my work better.And in the end I was happy with the result.Impromptu arts are challenging but good to enhance your skills,I'm not good yet but I know there's improvement.Like they said "practice,practice".

Actually there's no hard thing.You just  need to focus your mind and heart , so you will be able to come up with great work.Well I maybe repeated what I just said for the second time but for me that is just the real thing. Believing on what you can do you can come up with a good work.Impromptu art is good really good!:)I think all of my thoughts about it are already written because I only have one point.And I will be repeating it only.

It's the person who's working that will decide if it will be hard or it will be easy simply as that.You may not be really good but I know you can come up with a good art base only on what you can do and because of that your skills will increase and also asking or studying others work you can learn.Try it sometimes, look if there's something lacking on your work so you can apply it sometime.In doing impromptu art others opinion is okay too.It can help you to think what are you going to do for that certain art given to you.I know that if a topic or theme or whatever you may call it was given to you, you are already thinking of something, you already have your finish artwork in your mind.We're just lacking in applying it,because we're scared on how the results will be.For me that's how it is, but I tried and I'm proud of my work.Yeah this is also the thing here be proud!Because it can hep you but having confidence in doing such thing.

Classical Art: Greece And Rome

For me I believe that the most influencial of art history is the Classical Art, the Greeks and Romans.I think I'm being biased because I love Greece.But still I know what I like about it.Well  in this time the measurement has started,saying that they measure things and building they are making.It has this, the measurement of this side is equivalent to the measurement of this two sides something like that.And in this era they draw gods and goddesses but in human form they are making a perfect human out of it,having the right proportion by measuring it.The sculptures and painting  vases started here too!In this era they are focused in humans about it's perfection.Also on the arts in this era it's just about creating an art.Their arts here have message or have story.The amazing thing also about this era is it has four periods the Geometric,Archaic,The Classical, and The Hellenistic period.This just if you want it to be specific.

In Geometric period they had produced ceramic vessels and used them as mark for graves.So they can easily found each of it.This period was called Geometric period because of the repeated angular patterns on each grave marks and they called Geometric so that's how the period was name too.In Archaic period the making of sculptures has started before the Geometric period  end the artists started to paint people or human figures on those grave marks.That's why in this period mostly the arts are in human form and also the vase-painting they already inlcuded human there.One of the primary technique in this period is the black-figure vase-painting technique it somehow look rough and sketchy.In the Classical period or can be called "the gold age" is where the black-figure changed into red-figure.Where the background turns into black and the color of the skin of the humans are shown.In this period Bronze sculpture was another major art of Greece like the Bronze god.Hellenistic period is the time when the conquests of Alexander the Great started,so the artist became more likely violent, meaning their artwork looks violent based on Alexander the Great's conquest.It seems like that it's their basis.An example of this is the Great Altar of Zeus at Pergamum.In here also in their they are showing real movements of peopel it's like their showing how the story flow in their art.Their arts here are mostly incomplete body parts of people because of fighting.

Greeks arts and Romans art aren't quite different.It continued  the Hellenistic period.and show more of it and made it more in a level-up period.These two is more focused on humans and their structures of being perfect.And making a story of putting of history on the vases,walls building they had made.Showing off more realistic thing about it.And how human is, simple that this era is more on humans.This era has its period on how it evolved.Well I can say that in this era so much things happened and discover to add something on how you're going to create your art or express your feelings with art.They showed/taught us the sculptures,architechture and paintings not just drawings.

"Mona Lisa"

"The Mona Lisa" or "Mona Lisa" when we hear these words the thing that will come to our mind is a woman or a portrait made by the famous Leonardo Da Vinci."Mona" is actually an Italian word means madam or my Lady,that's why the painting is called "The Mona Lisa" it was said the woman's name is Lisa and as for an Italian they do some respect to call a woman that's why I think Leonardo ended up with the name of the painting.

So let's think about this,who is the woman behind the painting?How did Leonardo Da Vinci came up with this work?Is the woman in the painting real?Or just made by Leonardo's imagination?There's  a lot of questions lined-up.I will answer those based on my research.Even before,people are having a debate about "The Mona Lisa", about the woman in the painting.According to Giorgio Vasari an Italian painter,writer,historian and architect,who is famous today for his biopgraphies of Renaissance artists.Leaonardo accepted or work for  Francesco del Giocondo to paint his wife.There are things written in some articles that Francesco asked Leonardo to paint his wife for the celebration of his wife giving birth to their second child and for the completion of their house.It was said also that Francesco came from a rich family, that's why he came up with this idea.It is also said that the woman in the painting used to follow her husband.The Mona Lisa sometimes referred as La Gioconda because of Francesco del Giocondo as his wife.La Gioconda means "the joyous one" or "the lady full of mirth".It took Leonardo Da Vinci a total of 7 years to work on "The Mona Lisa".Well this is the other part of the story.
The other one is,some articles says that woman in the painting has a relationship with Leonardo Da Vinci.Concluding that they seems like committed to each other.Others said that the woman in the painting is not real it was just made by Leonardo,because of his greatness in art he can actually do that,that's what they believed.

The last one that I am really shocked and amazed about is,some scientist who debated and tried to solve the mystery of the painting said that the woman is Leonardo Da Vinci.They said that Leonardo is presumed a homosexual.That lead him to do a portait of him as a woman.They also said that The painting "Nona Lisa" is a diguised self-portait.The scientists have to do is just find the Leonardo's skull and reconstruct his face to discover if the painting was really a disguised self-portrait.Here's a photo.

Well until now,I know there are still people debating about this famous work of Leonardo Da Vinci there's a lot of articles and stories we can rely on.Still it's hard what should we believe.

Week 10:Things to do to enhance creativity

Things to do to enhance our creativity?Do we ever,I mean like somehow think of ways how we can enhance our creativity?Maybe most of us think of things to enhance it but not all.

But to enhance our creativity we should be thinking of the impossible!A unique idea, that can help us or you think that's not usual to others.Or maybe a usual thing tot hem but you will out some twist. Well, you can also try to exercise your creativity by applying it or making a project by making multiple projects you can see the changes and if you're improving!I think that's really the best suggestion I can make because applying it into a work you can definitely see changes.But of course you need to have enough knowledge not in everything not as in to know everything.But to have enough knowledge, so you won't be stuck in just a certain idea so you can combine everything in one.Actually in you're interested in something you can use it to enhance you creativity by making it your topic or you theme for you're project.Because by using it, if ever you made a project with that theme and tried to make another one you can see the difference and there  you can say if you're ideas or creativity improved.

You just need to think and think and apply your ideas so you can see how creative you have become.They usually say "you should think out of the box" something like that but yes, actually that's the easiest way to say or advice on how you can enhance your creativity.And also you can check out others work so you can have things in mind that will came up to a great work.Being able to do something can make everyone appreciate or can amaze everyone is the proof that your creativity is good or had been better!

Week 9: "It's all about BLOGGING"

Blogging?...Why do you think it's necessary?And do we need it in the first place?...Well, instead of a pen and a notebook because we have modern technology now, we have a keyboard and a monitor,in exchange and for more purposes.Blogging is the way for us people to give opinion, suggest, complain, ask and also to read what others can say about a particular thing or topic.In blogging we can say all the things we want but of course we should know our limitations because even if we're behind these monitors the comments about our opinions and ideas sometimes will affect us and we can be emotional something like that. Remember that we can't please everybody.Blogging nowadays is really important because by blogging the supreme or the government will know what the majority wants or what they can say about things they are trying to pursue.Because everyone is affected by the internet this is the way, almost all of the people show their comments about the government and about every little thing in this world.

Blogging is not just about the government and your opinion about them.It is also about yourself blogging can make you find people who have the same interest as you.You can make a lot of friends.And the most important part is you will learn.You'll try to socialize and know more about things and share your thoughts.It is also the way of saying "I care", meaning you care about things and people around you.It also helps us to be more confident and gained knowledge.And also to understand things and be exposed to the world.

Week 8:Effects of New Media in my life~

What happened to me?..When I got exposed to new media?Did I adopted it really well?Am I so into new media?...Actually there have been a lot of changes happened because I was able to used and adopted it.The really BIG effect of new media in my life is sometimes I can't do some important things because I was focusing in this new media.I am so into it that I always want to check it.It is really a big help for everyone having new media make our life more easier and also in communicating to others who's faraway.But sometimes people like me I think?Because of addiction to it,being exposed with something new like new media makes them so interested in it and almost using all of their time discovering and enjoying it.

New Media is good it is making the way people live as easy as possible but there are people who's not using it for that purpose some are using new media for bullying,harassment and etc.So it really depends on a person on how they will limit the use of new media.For me new media helped me to enjoyed and discovered things I wasn't able and didn't know before.And the experience was really good that I'm so addicted to it,but of course I still try to manage my time,trying but it's really hard when you got into this level.It's hard to lessen it but of course I should prioritize the important things than just sitting and surfing the net.But some of the effects too of new media in my life is when I'm home I always go straight to the computer and surf the net and many more using new media that I didn't know how much I was using it.I often forget to do some important things because of it.But still trying to manage it so it won't be bad for my studies:)

Week 7:What to do on a rainy day~

Rainy day~...What should we do during rainy day?...The real thing?Well actually there's a lot of people who loves to sleep when it's raining because it's cold.But there are some who don't like it when it rains because they are so busy,they have work and tasks to do.And on the other side,we have these people who still go out when it rains,they are still enjoying the day even the weather it's not in a good condition but can manage his/her time or limits.Some maybe,in this modern time will just stay at home and use their computers and watch anime,dramas or just play online games.Of course we have these people who are scared when it rains especially when there's thunder or lightning that's they don't enjoy the day that much.


But for me I prefer sleeping than anything else.I don't know why but when it rains I feel like.....how should I explain it?..I know that you feel that way too!Being so relax something like that and the feeling that you don't have to worry but just to sleep,I love it!:)That's my opinion but there's a lot to do on a rainy day it depends on how the person wants to spend his/her day while raining.But!A big but,when it rains hard like it will become a storm or what I think no one knows what to do,maybe just some.Because they are too scared of it.Still we can have fun or enjoy our self even if it's raining~

Week 6:Internet Highwayyyyyyyyyyy~

Internet highway?..Is there such thing?...Well that would be the questions that will come to your mind when you heard that word.Actually,yes there is such Internet Highway.Like the real highways or the roads we need need it to connect.For example you have a computer but you don't have internet connection do you think you can access those social networking sites?No,or in real life you have a car but you don't have a gasoline,do you think you can use your car to go somewhere you wanted?Or you have a car with gasoline in it but there's no road or highways you can enter or drive into there's still no chance for you to go/connect to a place/person.That's why it is called internet highway.


Internet makes our life so easy that we should be more active on doing things.For example if we have internet we can search all the details or questions we have in just one click.We don't need to go here and there just for some information.Exchanging information using internet is a lot easier and we can save files,projects there and we can make thousands of copy.By doing that we can have a back-up copy something like that of important files.Also in the internet highway all of the things we're doing in the browser they will always go through the internet highway.We can see all of that there,because if there's no internet/internet highway we can exchange information or get information easily and faster.

Week 5: MMA Family is LOVE~

What about MMA?What's with MMA family?...Well actually I just gained knowledge about the history of MMA last Thursday July 19,2012.While listening,I was having different kind of emotion but more on laughing and smiling.When I heard MMA's history I don't know why but I got excited something like that because their experiences for me were like *AMAZING* :D.And I'm asking things like "how did they do that?".They are so into being an MMA student/family member that's why they keep on trying things and accomplish it.And it's really obvious that they love being an MMA because they won't have that strong bond if not.And the best of all was they finished all of their task.

For me I think I made the right choice to be a MMA student knowing things about it,I mean it's history and the people who's in it,I know I will be enjoying my stay and I will learn a lot.Well, being a MMA student for 1 and half month(?) I'm already having fun what about int he next 3 more years?...I think it will be great!Even though we're having some adjustments and tons of works we still have time to have some fun:)You can see determination,passion,talent and many more in MMA family~Even though our population is just few we still have this bond and being a small population can give us more chance to know each family member very well.

MMA family members,we will have a lot of works we all know that but of course we love what we're doing so we will give our very best to accomplish it:)It's more fun in MMA~♥Having the same kind of interest and different kind of talented people around you is awesome!But the best part is understanding and being able to help each other.I love my MMA family though I don't know them all that much but because we have the same passion running in our blood(lol) I know we will be close like brother and sister:)Love love love~

Week 4: TEAMWORK

Teamwork?What about it?...Why do we need that?...Actually you can find teamwork in groups.Because in a group there's a lot of different people and you don't know how they do their work.A group can accomplish something even if it is not perfect but beautiful if they have teamwork.You can definitely say there's no teamwork if their projects/mission failed.It's just they don't have balance or they really don't know how to combine their ideas.Or maybe a little of misunderstanding of how they will do the said project and of course one of the main reason why we can't have this "teamwork" is laziness.

If you have teamwork you can definitely achieve something.You may encounter problems while doing it but you will definitely solve it right away.Having a teamwork is really good because it will make your work a lot easier and better!Having a teamwork is really important so let's keep in mind in everything that we do we should have teamwork less stress,less work and beautiful work/product!:)Teamwork everybody, we should be one!^_^

Week 3:Technology changed the way people communicate

How technology affected or changed the way of communicating with one another?Well if you'll study  how our ancestors or the caveman communicate before,you will understand!From drawing pictures/images of the things they had done,they can actually understand each other.Through the signal from burning woods, the smoke has some sort of message that they will understand.And then telephones,cellphones..etc and now the thing that's being into this age is the computer,the modern computer.By using these technologies especially the modern ones we can actually connect with one another in a fastest way unlike before that it will really take long time before you connect or receive information from another person.Technology changed the way people live too.They won't go outside or travel if they need to talk to a certain person now they would just call him/her or text her.


Technology made life easier.It made people from far places stay connected,updated about each other lives.Actually we should be thankful to these technologies because if it's not invented by humans who has this really unbelievable knowledge or wild imagination we won't have it.And it will still be hard for us people to communicate to each other or warn each other if there's some calamities.Having technology in our life is really a good thing making people safer as possible,updated and etc.

Having technology in our life makes us people to be afraid of the reality.Because some uses technology as the device acting as them to talk to people.And when they got the chance to see this person they won't talk,they are so afraid.It's like when they are using this technology they have this confidence because the person they talking too can't see them.And some will end up loner,computer addict,no friends,being scared with people and many more.The thing we should do is use technology wisely because it helps us or can make our works easier,we just need to give effort in doing it.


Technology helped us to made communication easy that we had never imagine.

Week 2: Why communicate?

Why communicate?...Have you ever ask yourself why do we really communicate?...Well,communication is important especially for us people.How can we understand each other if we do not communicate,right?...We always communicate,as in every time.If we didn't start communicating even in the ancient time we won't be in a modern technology like this.Because of communicating we achieved a lot.Communicating is good because it helps people to understand each other's opinion and respect it.And also to express our feelings.Actually it is the way for us people to be united!

BUT even if we people communicate we still have this misunderstanding and power or wants that we need to get,that's why we can't be united.But of course by communicating and having a good talk we can solve these problems.

In studying,of course communication is very important.Because if the teacher nor student exchange their ideas.Students won't learn anything or even if they have learned something there will be a point that they really understand it well.

In every aspect of life we communicate to improve,understand and many more.

We always communicate in our daily lives.So we should always remember that in communicating we need to think first of the words that will going to say,because it can't hurt someone and affect everybody.And it can also cause a disaster.

Week 1: CAS is fun!

CAS is fun!How come?What are my basis about saying it is fun?...Well I'll tell you....


The 2 events happened this week were the evidence of CAS being fun~!Last Thursday June 21,2012 there had been a General Assembly of CAS.It's for us (Freshman) to actually meet the other courses that is part of CAS,to know more about CAS,the policies that we have and also because of the election for the new officers that will be leading the other students of CAS to be organize and close.Actually we met the other courses before,it was on the orientation before the classes started,this is the second time that we meet.At first everybody was quiet,but after the speakers had told us their agenda the election started and everybody was loud!And they were like shouting their bias name for the position of president,vice president and others.But it was fun you can see everybody's smile and the fact that they are enjoying~I was happy for us MMA 1-1 because some of my classmates had been elected.The G.A. ended up well.Our classes continued and there had been a lot of fun in our English and Communication Technology class.We learned something new and had the chance to know our classmates more.

After that day,of course I think all of the Freshman was happy because we don't have classes because it's.......

It was held in the Gym!It was a sunny day,so it was really hot during the program.There's a lot of speakers,intermission number and other entertainment from the emcees.I had fun during the Freshmen Day,I think all of the students.We we're amazed by the performances of the upper level.One of the coolest part was when we ate our lunch it was on the long table and everybody was like *nom nom nom* they are eating!We actually enjoyed the food,while eating I was thinking "ohh~Filipino style♥" it was a nice experience as a Freshmen in Lyceum.

We also had the Mr. and Ms. Freshman.Unfortunately our classmates lost but it is okay!At least we had fun during the judging because the ones that will get the title should have the loudest....hmmm what do you call that?...Shouts=Votes~~~>Something like that.It was like a riot!It seemed like that everybody has gone wild!:P...But we're happy for the winners.The best part on the judging  was when all of the CAS Freshman are shouting and really having this unity.I'm so happy about it!

They gave us a piece of paper and on that paper we should write our dreams.After writing they gave us balloons~It has different colors and those colors represents the different Colleges.They told us to tie our paper on the balloon.After the program they instructed us to let the balloon fly~(I don't know the right term for that,sorry).And it was so beautiful*u*.All together the balloons~*O*




The Freshman Day was so great!I'm looking forward for more unexpected experiences in Lyceum and being a CAS~!
